Testimonials

“Dan was not only inspiring but uniquely skilled in taking his experience and knowledge and delivering it in a way that was graspable and “learnable” for my very diverse group of administrators who work together at Teachers College on the Psychological Response Team”

– Katie Embree, Vice Provost Columbia Teachers College

“Dan is an excellent facilitator. He speaks from personal experience, and is an effective communicator on the importance of understanding the impact of our campus decisions when working with a variety of mental health issues or concerns.”

About MH Mediate

MH Mediate helps mental health stakeholders talk about mental health, resolve conflicts, address challenging behaviors, and become accessible to diverse needs. We have developed resources and programs for clients in over a dozen states, including government agencies, universities, workplaces, mental health service providers, and many others.

MH Mediate convened the first independently-organized National Dialogue on Mental Health event in response to Barack Obama’s call for community conversations on mental health.  It was the first to be inclusive toward diverse stakeholder groups and became a model for future organizers throughout the nation.  MH Mediate has recently received funding from the NY State Office of Mental Health to develop a “Talking Mental Health Toolkit” building on conflict resolution principles.
